Thank you tattina for this reminder to the world. I wish the same folly and cruelty never be repeated. I’ve remembered the song Blowing in the Wind by PPM.
How many times must a man look up Before he can see the sky How many ears must one man have Before he can hear people cry How many deaths will it take till he knows That too many people have died The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind The answer is blowing in the wind
This simple picture is a cruel reminder of what the war brought. We'll always have to pass the message on to realize the importance of what we learned from the past. Thank you for this post, tattina.
Tattina, what a poignant photo of a time that should be forever remembered. The children suffer at the hands of adults and a photo like this should bring us to our senses... unintended consequences... so sad.
Madam Tattina, to tell the truth, last week daughter and I were in Nagasaki. There we stood at the center of explosion , visited The Atomic Bomb Museum and looking at the sea, we thought a lot for ever... Dear Tattina, thank you for this post.

So heart wrenching...It makes me ashamed of human kind.
ОтветитьУдалитьA heart breaking picture
ОтветитьУдалитьMy first thought is of the Buffy Saint Marie song The Universal Soldier.
ОтветитьУдалитьWithout soldiers we have no war.
